Rental Guarantee
The specific home or villa and dates you reserve are guaranteed. If an unforeseen circumstance causes the home or villa to be uninhabitable, Gebhart Properties reserves the right to substitute another home or villa.
To Make Your Reservation
At time of booking, your initial deposit equal to two night's lodging is due. The final lodging balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. This includes all taxes and surcharges. If booking a reservation within 60 days of your arrival, the full balance is due at the time of booking.
Accepted Payment
We accept cash, personal checks, traveler's checks, money orders, MasterCard, and VISA.
Refundable Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit of $1000 to $2000, depending upon the home or villa, is due by check 30 days before your arrival date. This is required to protect this multi-million dollar home against damages. The security damage deposit will be returned by check via mail 30 business days or less after your departure date. The security deposit refund may be delayed if there are damages to evaluate. We regret we are unable to accept credit cards for the security deposit.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, all moneys are non-refundable unless your exact dates can be re-booked. If we can re-book your exact dates, all monies received to date less a 20% handling fee will be returned. All monies received will be returned within 14 business days after your original reservation departure was scheduled. We regret that there are no refunds for late arrivals, early departures, or no shows.
We strongly recommend you secure your vacation reservation with travel insurance. Call your travel professional for information on travel insurance.
Minimum Nights
Minimum 4 night rentals required, 14 nights during Christmas/New Year's dates. Reservations for fewer nights may be possible depending on season. A full cleaning surcharge will be added for stays of less than the minimum required.
Check-In/Check-Out
Check-in 4:00 PM on your arrival date. Checkout is by 10:00 AM on your departure date.
Pets and Smoking
Pets are not permitted in any of our properties. Due to the number of people with severe pet allergies, an additional cleaning fee will be assessed if you bring a pet into the home or villa. All properties are strictly NON-SMOKING, which includes both inside and any outside areas. There are NO Exceptions! Violators will be assessed a substantial cleaning/deodorizing fee.
Housekeeping
Prior to your arrival, your vacation property is clean and furnished with fresh linens, towels, and supplies. Daily housekeeping is NOT included, but IS available upon request, for an additional fee.
Insufficient Funds Checks
$40 service fee per check will be charged.
Events
Some vacation rental properties allow weddings, large gatherings, receptions, parties, and events with a caterer. However, because of Homeowner Association Regulations, NONE of our properties are available for any "events." There is a substantial fee assessed for violation of these policies, which will include extra cleaning and payment of fines to Homeowner Associations.
Directions:
From Kona International Airport, depart via the exit road.
At the traffic light, turn right, going north, on the Queen's Highway, Route
19.
Proceed 18 miles to the traffic light at Waikoloa Beach Drive.
Turn left.
Proceed through the Waikoloa Beach Resort. There will be several stop signs.
The Kings Shops will be on your right. The Marriott Waikoloa Resort will
be on your left.
Just past the Marriott Waikoloa Resort, the next left hand turn brings you
into Kolea. There are very distinguished gates with the Kolea logo. Use
your gate code (provided when you have finalized your reservation), to open
the gate.
Proceed to the first right hand turn just after the Kolea Ocean Club (on
your left or ocean side).
After turning right, make the first left, and then the first left into the
parking area for Building 7. You will need your villa key and the special
elevator key to gain access to the third floor and villa 7-F (the only villa
on the floor).
