Keystone Ski Resort

Keystone is less than 30 minutes from Breckenridge and our properties there.  For those staying at our Gateway condominium properties, it is a short shuttle drive to either of the base areas.   Keystone features skiing on three, inter-connected mountains.  Main access to all mountains is through River Run Village Gondola or Mountain Village chairlifts.  Close-in pay parking is available.

Arapahoe Basin Ski Resort

Arapahoe Basin Ski Resort is less than 40 minutes from Breckenridge.  Offering some of the most challenging skiing in Colorado, A-Basin also stays open long after the other Colorado resorts have closed.

Copper Mountain Ski Resort

Copper Mountain is a superb ski area located about 30 minutes from Breckenridge.  One of the best ski mountains in Colorado, its trails generally range (east to west) from most difficult to least difficult.  There is some excellent bowl skiing here as well.

Breckenridge Ski Resort

Breckenridge is the ski area that you can see from Rubywood, and you can step out you door and go skiing directly from Beaver Run.  It is around 30 minutes from Keystone.  Skiing is on four, interconnected mountains with a huge array of ski terrain, including North America’s highest lift served terrain.  Although there is plenty of different terrain for everyone here, Breckenridge is also known for its expert skiing.  Once a mining town, Main Street in Breckenridge is now a National Historic District and the entire town is filled with fine shopping, restaurants, and old, Victorian-era buildings.  Breckenridge has a full range of summer activities as well, including a major concert center.

Vail Ski Resort

Considered the grand-daddy of all ski resorts, Vail is about a 45 minute drive from either Keystone or Breckenridge, mostly on I-70.  The drive is easy, but the skiing is some of the best you will ever find.  Vail’s back bowls are legendary and incomparable.  Blue Sky Basin on the far side of the back bowls adds another dimension to Vail’s already extraordinary skiing.  With numerous fine (but expensive) restaurants and truly upscale shopping, lodging prices in Vail tend to run 25% or more higher than either Breckenridge or Keystone.
